BSL BIOSERVICE was established in 1995 as spin-off of a small biotech company founded in 1984.

In 2015 all in vitro Services of BSL BIOSERVICE have been integrated in Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing. The in vivo safety testing services for small and large molecules, chemical substances and medical devices remained with BSL BIOSERVICE Scientific Laboratories Munich GmbH.

Over the years BSL BIOSERVICE has developed successful partnerships with laboratories in Germany and abroad to deliver you the best service in medical device testing. In 2017 the Zentrum für Präklinische Forschung from Klinikum Rechts der Isar in Munich was successfully accreditated by AAALAC with BSL BIOSERVICE to conduct animal testing.

Furthermore BSL BIOSERVICE is part of the so-called Safety Alliance, which consists of a selected number of high-quality complementary CROs located in Europe. It was built as coordinating and monitoring function for Multi-Site studies between the different CROs in order to deliver a high quality standard to its valued clients.
